Executive Director

Hello and Welcome,

Serving People In Need has changed a lot in my twelve years. What was once a "homeless" agency has transformed in to an innovative non profit that serves families and youth through a broad spectrum of services.

The addition of our Financial Stability Center has allowed us to reach out to the community and provide services to the working families of Lynn. In our first year the FSC exceeded all expectations.

In addition to the FSC SPIN continues to provide housing to families through our Scattered Site Family Emergency Shelter Program and permanent housing programs. Families are assisted in locating housing and addressing any needs they may have. Staff in these programs understand that their work with the families goes beyond just securing housing and includes helping families gain true independence.

Our group homes also continue to be a much needed resource and opportunity for the youth in our community to gain skills. The Lynn Academy Programs and our Teen Parenting Programs are utilizing an approach to serving youth and their families that acknowledges the trauma many of them have experienced.

We at SPIN are very excited about our existing programs and the many creative ones on the way. Stick around and find out what innovative and exciting ideas are next.
