Rules of Conduct

To ensure orderly operations and provide the best possible work environment, SPIN, Inc. expects employees to follow rules of conduct that will protect the interests and safety of all employees and the organization.

It is not possible to list all the forms of behavior that are considered unacceptable in the workplace. The following are examples of infractions of rules of conduct that may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment:

  • Working under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs or possession or sale of a controlled substance in any quantity while on company premises
  • Fighting or threatening violence in the workplace
  • Insubordination or other disrespectful conduct
  • Violation of safety or health rules
  • Sexual or other unlawful or unwelcome harassment
  • Excessive absenteeism or any absence without notice
  • Violation of personnel policies; any action that is detrimental to SPIN, Inc., Inc.'s efforts to operate effectively and efficiently
  • Unauthorized possession of illegal firearms, weapons or explosives on company property or while on duty
  • Violating confidentiality agreement
  • Violating HIPPA regulations
  • Unsatisfactory performance or conduct
  • Inappropriate conduct and boundaries with consumers, co-workers and/or collaterals of SPIN
  • Failure to report work related injuries promptly
  • Improper use of company vehicles or failure to report vehicle defects to supervisor promptly
  • Non-compliance with program policies and expectations

Employment with SPIN, Inc. is at the mutual consent of SPIN, Inc. and the employee, and either party may terminate that relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without advance notice.
